SPOOR SERIES #6: Judith Herman + Clara Borg Verbeke
Talk + Workshop / Open Exchange of Ideas Based on 2D Media and Print
Welcome to the SPOOR series, a monthly meetup in our screenprinting studio SPOOR! Once a month, one of our SPOOR residents curates an evening full of creative exchange, inspiration, and experimentation centered on all things 2D media, print, and visual art.
De Spoor Serie has been pushed back by one week to October 8, 2026.
Judith Herman
Judith Herman graphically explores how drawings can serve as a source of inspiration for music and textiles. Her own work consists of drawings originating from Morse code: each piece starts with a word, a sentence, a mathematical formula, or another starting point, developing into a complete drawing through its own internal logic. In her research, she examines how sound and music can connect to this process. Additionally, she handles the graphic design for her partner, musician Saving Nico.
Clara Borg Verbeke
Clara Borg Verbeke’s work probes the resonances and relationships between drawing, sculpture/installation, and literature. By continually revisiting, subtly shifting, and recombining elements, she brings the draftsman’s eye, the spatial gaze, and a step-by-step reading into alternating and intersecting focus. Repetition, minimal variations, subtle derailments, and material offshoots ensure that meanings do not enter through the front door, but discreetly swell up from the surface and intervals. This approach develops particularly well in artist publications.
About SPOOR
SPOOR stands at the intersection of image and music—a space where musicians screenprint, illustrators and designers exchange mixtapes, and visual artists step out of their studios to design an LP. SPOOR specializes primarily in screenprinting. It is an experimental lab where connection, exchange, and creation take center stage.
This SPOOR series event is free, and registration is not required. Just drop in!
