Aghogho
Warm vocals, deep basslines, and irresistible funky rhythms: with these elements, singer and bassist Aghogho weaves together a seamless blend of soul, funk, and afrobeat. Her Nigerian name, Aghogho, translates to "child of God" and reflects the strong cultural identity that flows through her music and shapes her signature sound—drawing comparisons to artists like Nilüfer Yanya, Lianne La Havas, and Zap Mama.
Following her debut EP 17 and a showcase spot at Sound Track, she spent the past months working hard on a brand-new EP, which she’s presenting to you tonight. With the lead single 'I Want You To Feel It' setting the bar high, we absolutely can't wait to hear the rest!
