Almighty Mighty is Stéphane Misseghers (dEUS) en Michélé De Feudis (Horses on Fire). Maar ook Ian Clement (Wallace Vanborn), Emily Vernaillen (Azra), Stijn Vanmarsenille (Future Old People Are Wizards), Alan Gevaert (dEUS), Steven Janssens (Mark Lanegan), Charlotte Caluwaerts (Tundra), Femke De Beleyr (Arquettes). Er is al voor minder het woord 'supergroep' gebruikt.
Samen schreven ze jaren geleden nummers zonder enig doel, maar die bleken al snel te goed om ergens stof te vergaren. Dit jaar beloven ze dat werk te bundelen op een EP.
Met single 'Slow Burner' wist de groep ons op We Are Open - tevens hun eerste optreden in deze formatie ooit - al te verrassen. Enkele maanden én nummers later, komt Almighty Mighty op 8 november terug voor hun EP release.
