De garage-psych-surf-pop kwam vers uit de garages van Brugge wanneer Budget Trash in 2018 in de finale stonden van Humo's Rock Rally. De finale hebben ze niet gewonnen, maar indruk maakten ze zeer zeker wel. De vier jongemannen hebben onlangs getekend bij Feles Music, brachten het afgelopen halfjaar twee nieuwe singles uit en verwelkomden Jente Pauwels als nieuwkomer op de drums. Die verandering is ook terug te horen in hun sound welke een hele ontwikkeling heeft doorgemaakt sinds hun beginperiode.
