Girls To The Front

Girls to the Front is an Utrecht based initiative which focuses on the Dutch based FLINTA representation within the punk music industry. It started as an event on the 8th of march in dB’s by Bibi Fay Bannink, an 18 year old feminist punk fan with a plan. Which grew out to a compilation vinyl with 14 FLINTA fronted punk bands, called Girls to the Front. Which was released on the 8th of march 2025 in EKKO, and was followed by a tour throughout the Netherlands. Including Paradiso, VERA Groningen, Rotown, Wilde Weide and Down the Rabbit Hole Dj-set. 2026 will bring another compilation vinyl, another tour and a continued fight. 

Girls to the Front doesn’t only celebrate the various ‘punk’ sounds created by FLINTA people that are alive and loud in the country, but also wants to dive in the intersectional struggles and inspirations people experience through the making of zines or through organizing more interdisciplinary events with poetry, film talks and panels. 

Girls to the Front hopes to work towards a community of FLINTA people who can mosh together without constantly having to be cautious of the male dominance in spaces like this and take inspiration from the Riot Grrrl movement with modern implications and struggles. Most importantly we want all the FLINTA people to the front and we want them to collectively scream en mosh together and celebrate their identities through punk as a genre, but also a lifestyle. 

C’est Qui? is an explosive punk band that effortlessly fuses groovy garage, glam, grime, and gnarly riffs. What started as the collision of four completely different genres erupted into unbridled, chaotic punk energy.

Live, they deliver a full-on spectacle: raw, chaotic, and brimming with attitude. The band looks like they’ve escaped from One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, hits you like a ten-ton truck, smells of shiny red pumps fresh out of the box, and makes you question your nine-to-five routine.

No filter, rebellious but catchy, driving and above all unapologetically bold: Foofer delivers urgent, danceable pop- and post-punk with a healthy dose of fuck-off attitude and an overdose of shwung.

An explosion of creative chaos and a time-travel mission to the future of punk. Gender Reveal Atomic Bomb (GRAB) fuses the raw authenticity of punk and riot grrrl with intricate guitar and bass lines borrowed from metal, glam, and prog. Their music is a journey to another dimension—a sanctuary for anyone who has ever felt like an alien. Get ready for a genre-bending blast that is as complex as it is chaotic.

In 2026, SNACKBAR emerges from the Amsterdam underground to reclaim the stage with fresh blood and new music. Expect a lethal dose of feminist hard rock, driven by screaming organs, razor-sharp guitars, and relentless punk rhythms. Following their 2024 debut EP, a second release is currently in the works.

Leading the charge is powerhouse FVH, as fierce and message-driven as ever. The goal: to demand more space for women and other marginalized groups. The method: loud, direct, Dutch-language noise. Further inspiration is drawn from the absurdity of the everyday—neon-lit local snack bars, smoky brown pubs, and the raw experience of growing up as a woman. The result is a chaotic explosion of feminist punk and 70s hard rock.
