Born in Nigeria, he later moved to London where he forged his unique sound, fusing soul, R&B, alternative pop, electronic, and African influences.
In 2018, he broke through internationally with his debut album 'Village' and the iconic hit single 'Chainsmoking', which has easily surpassed 80 million streams.
