Jet van der Steen

Jet van der Steen is not your average pop star, but the rebellious girl-next-door with a razor-sharp pen. What started as a creative outlet in her bedroom evolved through viral covers into a powerhouse solo career. Jet blends quirky pop with electronic influences, showcased on her EPs Alles Komt, Alles Gaat and the recent Niemand Gaat Het Voor Je Doen. With hits like ‘Dans Op Het Mes’ (nearly 3 million streams) and the poignant ‘Ik Bouw Een Huis’, she has conquered stages across the Benelux and beyond.

Following a near-sold-out club tour and a packed release show at Melkweg, 2026 kicked off with a bang: a standout performance at ESNS and being named 3FM Talent. Authentic, empathetic, and fueled by a defiant streak: Jet van der Steen is ready for whatever comes next.

CHIMMI is the artistic project of Charline D’hoore, a Belgian musician shaping the Belgian pop and alternative scene both on and off stage. She traded her medical studies for writing and producing music, quickly becoming a fixture as guitarist and backing vocalist for Pommelien Thijs. After playing venues and festivals like Rock Werchter, Pukkelpop, and AB, she decided to leave the band in 2025 to fully focus on her own project, CHIMMI.

Musically, CHIMMI moves between indie, alternative, pop, and rock, combining raw guitars with modern production while playing with the contrast between control and vulnerability. With her debut single scheduled for 2026, CHIMMI marks the next step in Charline D’hoore’s journey, bringing everything that previously happened behind the scenes straight to the forefront.
