Jong Geleerd met Glints
Jong Geleerd consists of short talks and conversations about the things that really matter to young musicians. Whether you’re just starting out or already more experienced, your input counts. Sometimes you bring a topic, sometimes an inspiring guest joins the discussion. It’s learning without the classroom vibe, just talking, sharing, and helping each other grow. All sessions are guided by a familiar face.
Participation costs €3,5 in exchange for a drink during the session.
For fans of
Glints
Glints is a Belgian rapper and singer whose roots lie in the world of opera. As a member of Antwerp's ‘Abattoir Anvers’ collective, he hosted a regular radio show on Studio Brussel for years, broadcast directly from Trix.
Glints stands out for his distinct British accent, a result of growing up with a British aunt and cousins, alongside many trips to visit his 'surrogate family' in London. But he is anything but your average rapper. As a former opera choirboy, he seamlessly weaves grandiose choruses and theatrical operatic elements together with beats and raps.
In 2020, Glints released his debut album 'Choirboy' in a sold-out AB, produced by his musical brother Yong Yello. Following the successful follow-up 'THE DARK!' and hit singles like 'Bugatti', 'Roma', 'All In', and 'Lemonade Money', he joined forces with producer/DJ Faisal for their joint project GLINTSAL. With a rock-solid live reputation and clever crossovers between hip-hop, opera, and funky club beats, Glints remains one of the most unique acts in the country.
