overpass sounds exactly like being in your twenties feels: a whirlwind of existential confusion and euphoric adrenaline. The Birmingham four-piece translates the uncertainty of growing up into soaring indie anthems, hitting the sweet spot between Slowdive’s shoegaze textures and the driving rhythms of The War On Drugs. After sharpening their stagecraft alongside Inhaler and The Wombats, they are scaling up their grassroots grittiness for the big stage with their debut album, ‘Elsewhere, Always’. It’s a communion for the restless and the hopeful—music for those who don’t have it all figured out yet, but are ready to scream the chorus anyway.

What started as schoolmates dreaming together grew into Fletchr Fletchr: a band rooted in deep friendship and a touch of organic chaos (bassist George was thrown onto a stage just days after joining). Their name is a loving tribute to lead singer Rohan’s late father, their biggest champion, and a nod to how seamlessly this group became a family of their own.
