From the Veluwe region in the Netherlands, Fluisteraars craft atmospheric and introspective black metal deeply rooted in nature and solitude. Their sound blends raw intensity with shimmering, almost meditative passages, often evoking forests and vast landscapes. Their 2024 album Manifestaties van de Ontworteling was one of our favorite albums so to say we're excited for their recently announced new album "Jacht der Mysteriën" is an understatement.

Hailing from Cologne, Germany, Ultha deliver a bleak and emotionally crushing take on black metal, merging elements of post-metal, sludge, and shoegaze. Their music is dense, cathartic, and often deeply melancholic, with long-form songwriting that builds atmosphere and tension. Their latest album 'A Light So Dim' is another great addition to their ever growing body of work. 

Spirit Possession delivers a raw and erratic brand of black heavy metal, drawing profound influence from the primitive origins of the genre. Their music is defined by its volatile, spiraling structures, combining razor-sharp thrashing guitars with relentless percussive violence, torturous vocals, and layers of apocalyptic harsh noise.

Formed in 2019 by S. Peacock (Strings/Vocals - Black Curse, Ulthar) and A. Spungin (Drums/Handmade Synthesizers - Vouna), the duo immediately established themselves with their 2020 self-titled debut. Their 2023 follow-up, ‘Of the Sign…’, represents an even more sinister and violent expansion of their sound, solidifying Spirit Possession as a formidable force in the contemporary extreme metal underground.

Miserere Luminis is a Québécois atmospheric black metal project known for its bleak emotional intensity and haunting fusion of raw black metal, doom, and folk influences. Formed by members of Gris and Sombres Forêts, the band crafts deeply melancholic soundscapes rooted in isolation, nature, and existential despair.

Conifère is a Canadian black metal collective that channels frostbitten riffs, hypnotic repetition, and woodland mysticism into immersive sonic journeys. Their music blends traditional second-wave black metal aesthetics with atmospheric textures inspired by Québec’s harsh landscapes and underground spirit.

Vespéral is a Montréal-based melodic black metal band recognized for combining ferocious aggression with expansive, emotionally charged compositions. Drawing from both Scandinavian and Québécois black metal traditions, Vesperal balances icy intensity with cinematic atmosphere and introspective lyricism.
