De titel "BBC Sound of 2019" staat alvast op hun palmares, in thuisland Groot-Brittannië verkopen ze de ene na de andere zaal uit en bij ons stond de groep al op Rock Werchter. En dat terwijl hun debuutalbum nog in de maak is.
Het Britse Sea Girls leent zo blijkt hun naam van een lyric van Nick Cave (Water's Edge) - waardoor je bij ons automatisch punten scoort. Daarnaast maken de heren ook aanstekelijke indiepop, die barst van energie en catchy refreinen. In het straatje van The 1975, Sam Fender, Bastille of Catfish and the Bottlemen.

Het Gentse alternatieve HYPER! bestaat uit drie zelfverklaarde ADHD'ers die no nonsense rock 'n roll met invloeden uit classic 70s rock en indierock maken - ofte, "tuxedo rock" zoals ze het zelf bestempelen. Live een absolute energiebom van jewelste!
