Snelle

In recent years, Dutch artist Snelle has scored numerous hits across the Low Countries, including Reünie, Smoorverliefd, and Blijven Slapen. With his characteristically energetic live shows and personal songs, he continues to connect with a wide audience.

Snelle is currently back in the spotlight with his latest single Laat Het Licht Aan, in which he addresses the theme of dementia in a sensitive way. The track serves as a precursor to his sixth studio album, set for release later this spring.

He also continues to impress on stage. In early June, he will host the first edition of the sold-out Thuis bij Snelle Festivalat the Bussloo recreational area, near his hometown of Deventer. With guest artists such as Acda en de Munnik, Ronnie Flex, Turfy Gang, and Samuel Welten, the festival promises to be a special debut edition. Tickets sold out rapidly.

Following the summer, a new club tour will take place, including a stop in Antwerp. Snelle is very much looking forward to it, as he says himself: “I’m really super excited to hit the road again with my band. It’s simply the coolest thing there is. I especially love a club tour, because you can always show just that little bit more. Besides new music and hits from past and present, there’s also room for special arrangements. I can’t wait,” he says enthusiastically.
