SUNN O)))

Sunn O))), formed in 1998 in Los Angeles, is led by Stephen O’Malley and Greg Anderson. The band fuses drone, noise, metal, and minimalism into a dense, experimental sound, featuring collaborations with legendary artists and a string of iconic live performances. Known for their immersive, massive soundscapes, hypnotic volume, and deep atmospheric textures, Sunn O))) create unforgettable experiences that fully envelop audiences.

For 25 years, they have pushed the boundaries of music, from underground clubs to prestigious stages like David Geffen Hall, The Barbican, and festivals worldwide. Their work continues to evolve, always true to the principles of density, weight, and intensity, while constantly exploring new collaborations and innovative projects.

Born from a 2022 tribute to the late composer Steve Kaspar, the duo of Nataša Grujović and Steve Moore (Sunn O))), Earth) explores the intersection of spiritual jazz, ritualistic drone, and classical traditions. While their sound utilizes synthesizers and digital processing, the duo’s true power lies in the raw resonance of the accordion and trombone. By manipulating acoustic spaces, they create immersive harmonic fields where deep drones and delicate melodies meet. Their debut work, Event Horizon, stands as a testament to this visceral, electro-acoustic exploration.
