For this concert a limited number of Gate15 cultural vouchers (for Antwerp students) will be accepted. Send us at least two working days before the day of the concert a request for reservation by mail. After the devaluation of your voucher you will receive the Trix concert ticket.

De laatste keer dat bassist Joe Lally en drummer Brendan Canty samen in een bandje zaten, waren ze de ritmesectie van Fugazi - u weet wel, misschien wel dé meest invloedrijke en legendarische post-hardcoreband ooit. Samen met gitarist Anthony Pirog vormen ze sinds 2016 The Messthetics, een retescherp trio dat op zoek gaat naar instrumentale progrock en mathrock met een vleugje jazz.
In het voorjaar van 2018 kwam hun debuut uit, waarmee ze live al indruk maakten:
"Wij waren een uur lang toeschouwers van een heerlijk jam van drie muzikanten die nu eens retestrak op elkaar ingespeeld leken, dan weer frivool aan het improviseren gingen." - damusic
Those Who Didn't
'Those Who Didn't' is a four piece from Antwerp that lets the instruments do the talking. With a style described as post-everything and pre-nothing, short, catchy songs that scream at you, without vocals.
Depressing feel-good tunes that kick you in the balls and enter your ears like worms, with no intention of leaving.
Music inspired by Bauhaus, Berlin, beer and Bukowski.
