VIOLENT VIRA is the alternative hard rock project led by Mexican-American singer-songwriter Amy Gonzalez, alongside bandmates Anthony Brown and Matt Bolling. Gonzalez channels intense personal experiences and profound empathy into a volatile sonic identity, seamlessly transitioning from haunting melodies to cathartic screams. Her musical upbringing bridges the gap between Latin pop icons like Selena and alternative rock staples such as Evanescence and Linkin Park.

After years of street busking and auditions, Gonzalez achieved a major independent breakthrough in 2021 when her single "I Don't Care" went viral, accumulating over 100 million streams on Spotify. Following successful releases like "God Complex" and the 2023 EP Till’ Death Was Never Enough, the band signed with Mom+Pop Music.
