Workshop: Ableton for Beginners with Pascal Oorts

Ableton Live is an excellent production software for creating electronic music both live and in the studio. An intuitive interface, an extensive collection of instruments and samples, and a whole arsenal of effects—Ableton Live has it all. It’s no surprise that this program is the workstation-of-choice for artists like Grimes, Four Tet, TOKiMONSTA, Flying Lotus, Fatima Al Qadiri, St. Vincent, Knxwledge, and Jon Hopkins.

In this course, we will explore the various functions and features of Ableton Live using an existing track. By the end of the course, you will be able to produce your own music using Ableton Live.
 

PRACTICAL INFO

For whom? There is no prior knowledge required. Everyone is welcome! This workshop is for anyone between 16 and 30 years old.

When? On Wednesday September 2, 16 & 30 & October 14 from 7:30 PM to 10:30 PM

Where? In the Multimedia room at Trix. Please arrive 15 minutes early! You can check in at our Café (on the right-hand side as you enter). We will show you the way.
