In this workshop, you will learn everything about writing your own song. We will discuss how famous songs are structured, and you will get to work on your own track. You will receive personal coaching from Sarah Pepels and Aram Santy to take your songwriting skills to the next level and write an absolute masterpiece. At the end of this five-day course, you will present your own songs to each other!

Teachers: Sarah Pepels & Aram Santy

Sarah Pepels, known as a former member of Portland, is now primarily active within Glitterpaard and Ozark Henry. In addition to her music career, she is also frequently found at Trix, where she leads workshops in songwriting and vocal coaching.

Aram Santy is producer and mixing engineer and works together with a.o. Lander & Adriaan, Emma Hessels, Amatorski, Pomrad, Youniss, piffy.

Praktische info

For who?

You can accompany yourself musically (on an instrument or with a backing track) and want to learn how a song comes together in terms of lyrics, melody, harmony, and rhythm, so you can create a song together with the coach(es). The workshop is for everyone

When?

on Wednesday September 30, October 7, 14 & 21, each time from 7:30 PM to 10:30 PM. And on October 28 a showcase in our Trix Café starting at 7:30 PM.

Where?

This workshop takes place in the Basement. Please arrive 15 minutes before the start. You can check in at our Café.
