Trix Youth
Do you have a heart for music, but aren't quite sure what you want to do with it yet? Or are you looking for a place where you can discover everything that is possible behind the scenes or on stage alongside other young people? Meet Trix Youth, the brand-new youth initiative within our Werkplaats.
Starting this September, we are launching a talent development program for musical makers and discoverers between the ages of 14 and 17. You absolutely do not need to be a musical prodigy to join. Can't sing, rap, or play an instrument (yet)? No problem. Together with coaches from the music scene, we will help you find where your passion lies and how to develop it.
From idea to stage
We will meet every Wednesday from 14:00 to 16:00 in Trix Venster, starting in September. Here is what the year looks like:
- September to November | Introduction & Exploration
We will explore the building, get to know the group and the coaches, and get a taste of different musical worlds. Here, you will discover everything that is possible at Trix. - January to April | Diving Deeper
The focus now shifts entirely to what you want to learn. We organize tailored workshops for the group, ranging from beatmaking and studio engineering to songwriting or the production behind a concert. - April to May | The Showcase
We bring all the talents together. Together with the group, you will conceptualize, plan, and organize your very own showcase at Trix.
* There are no workshops during exam periods (December and June) and school holidays. The program pauses during these times so you can fully focus on your exams or your vacation.

Who is it for? Young people aged 14 to 17 with a broad interest in music and creativity. Technical skills or prior knowledge are not required.
When? Every Wednesday from 14:00 to 16:00 (September through May, excluding holidays and exam periods).
Location? Trix Venster
Price: € 84 for the full year.
What is included in the price? All weekly workshops, coaching, access to the professional spaces at Trix, én drinks and a snack waiting for you every Wednesday.
Making music is for everyone. At Trix, we want everyone to have the chance to discover their talent, regardless of their financial situation at home. That is why we offer a social rate (such as the VT-status, vrijetijdspas, or the A-card with social rate). If you qualify for this, you pay a reduced price of € 16,80 for the entire year.
