The youth council at Trix is by and for young people. It is an enthusiastic group that meets monthly to set the course, shake things up, and genuinely influence youth policy. Because who knows better what young people want than you do?
The youth council at Trix is by and for young people. It is an enthusiastic group that meets monthly to set the course, shake things up, and genuinely influence youth policy. Because who knows better what young people want than you do?
Your voice, your ideas, and your creativity will make a difference. The youth council ensures that what matters to youth directly shapes the future of Trix. In short: you are given the keys to help sculpt and define the city's culture.
We meet every month from September to June on the second Wednesday of the month, from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM (with the exception of November, when we will meet on Wednesday, November 4th).
Because we really want to make an impact together, we ask for your commitment to attend as often as possible.
Age: 14-21 years old
What will you be doing?
- Co-deciding: you will dive into themes that young people care about most.
- Inspiring: together with us, you will create a program and help determine the direction of Trix as a youth hub.
- A look behind the scenes: you will get to know the ins and outs of Trix, both in front of and behind the scenes.
- Being an ambassador: you will actively promote Trix's youth work (including at events). You feel connected to our organization and the values we stand for.

- A delicious meal and drinks during every meeting.
- A volunteer allowance of €25 per meeting for your time and dedication.
