Badtime is a creative collaboration at the intersection of illustration, music, and graphic design. Recently relocated from Amsterdam to Antwerp, the duo creates conceptual releases that seamlessly blend visual and musical worlds. Specializing in screen printing, they craft unique cassette artwork, t-shirts, and zines, while constantly experimenting with analogue printing methods and ink techniques.

Bram joins our screen printing studio to expand his graphic and artistic ideas. Drawing inspiration from music, performance, and art, he leverages the tactile power of screen printing to deepen his creative practice. This residency provides him with space to explore new forms and refine his process, bringing concepts to life as they evolve hands-on.

Céline is a graphic designer focusing on editorial design, book design, and archiving. Her work explores collecting behaviors and found objects, with screen printing serving as the ideal medium to expand her ideas. At SPOOR, she aims to deepen her practice and collaborate with fellow artists.

Chiara Di Luca is a graphic design master’s student at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts Antwerp who moved from Milan to focus on expanding her graphic design and illustration skills. At SPOOR, she aims to explore music-related themes, building on her previous work within the field.

As an artist duo, Maxim Van Cauwenberge and Ellen Vangheluwe are working toward an exhibition at Kavka. Their primary source of inspiration is the graphic design of music albums and posters, as music plays a central role in both of their practices. Highlighting this connection, they are creating a publication inspired by Yoko Ono and John Lennon's 'The Wedding Album'.

Salah Van Puymbroeck enters SPOOR to step away from the digital realm and bring his designs into the physical world. Pushing the boundaries of screen printing through experimentation, he creates work he describes as vivid, colorful, and dynamic.

Thomas Peeters enters SPOOR to break out of the digital sphere and bring his designs into direct dialogue with the physical world. The core of his current graphic work centers on designing posters and flyers for punk shows, driven by the dynamic interplay between music and visual art.

The Antwerp artist and designer Benjamin Ikoma tries to transcend the boundaries of time, space and disciplines on the basis of his artwork. He is (was) part of Onder Stroom and designs colorful posters for Hotjumenas, Kamping Kerosine and more.

Wouter Van Rymenant is in Spoor as a music lover and illustrator. Both activities are of equal importance to his project. He is working on a collection of images inspired by albums he listens to. How does music influence visual work? Wouter likes to show it to you with his illustrations.

Susanna Ingignoli is preparing for her upcoming solo exhibition during her residency in Spoor. Her work focuses on the interaction between natural and urban patterns. She uses her time in Spoor to further apply this idea to textiles.

Charlotte Dumortier throws herself into her residence as an experienced screen printer. She draws inspiration from concert posters and uses them to create images that highlight local natural phenomena. As it happens in nature, Charlotte likes to seek out cross-pollination. There is no better place than Spoor to ensure that.

During her residency, Karen Vantvelt will look for the link between music and images. Can images influence music? How does that sound? She investigates these questions together with Artists In Residence to arrive at a multidisciplinary answer.

Emily Van Overstraeten is working on a musical project under the name Elemy. To this end, she uses her strengths as an illustrator during her residency in Spoor. Experiments with printing, illustration and textiles result in a setting for live performances.

Noortje Lennaerts is no stranger to Spoor. She previously worked on prints and experiments in our studio. This time she delves into a defined project where limitation and limits play the leading role.

Over the past year, Moenia Ladhib has studied upcycling and repurposing. She will continue this trajectory during her residency in Spoor. Her expertise lies mainly in digital, which is why she fully immersed herself in the analogue technology of screen printing during her time in the studio.

Billie Marcelis uses his graphic work for various musical projects. You might recognize his style from Melthead's artwork. His residency in Spoor is therefore dedicated to this interaction between music and graphics. He is experimenting with the sieves and we are curious to see what the results will be.

Kato Trappers and Jolien van Dijk serve scenographic dinners under the name Het Banquet. The duo dives into Spoor to investigate how screen printing can contribute to this idea. Their dinners revolve entirely around experience and decoration. During their residency they investigate how this idea can be further developed.

Jade Kerremans uses their drawings to place the world around them. Illustrations provide comfort and guidance. Their residency in Spoor serves as a research path into how these spontaneous drawings can subsequently continue to exist. In a book, on textiles, as posters? The search has begun.

João Paulo Figueiredo starts working with Brazilian music in Spoor. He translates these sounds into posters and editorials that have a political undertone. At the same time, he investigates possibilities to enter the public space with his work.
