Vacancy production staff fixed term (60%, 3 months, mid-September - mid-December)

Trix is the music centre of Antwerp.

With around 220 concerts and more than 130,000 visitors per year, Trix is one of the largest stages for alternative pop music in the country. In addition to organising concerts & nightlife, Trix is also a workplace for pop music with rehearsal infrastructure, a recording studio and multimedia space. Trix works with a talented and driven team and we are looking for a production staff member (m/f/x) who shares our unconditional passion for music and wants to strengthen our permanent production team on a regular basis.

YOUR TASKS

In consultation with the production coordinator and our programmers, you collect all necessary information about the organisational, logistical and technical conditions of a concert or nightlife event, and you pass this information on clearly and in a timely manner to the other Trix teams and to the artists/DJs and their entourage.
You are ultimately responsible for the smooth running of the production side of events so that they always run in a qualitative manner in Trix according to the standard workflow of Trix, so that all parties involved (bands, agents, crew, audience, volunteers, etc.) are satisfied.
You make transparent call sheets, think cost-efficiently and monitor deadlines.
You follow up the post-production of the event until everything is clear and completed

You are a planner and an administrative whiz.
You are polite, work systematically and you have a memory like an organized library.
At busy times you keep a cool head and you are a beacon of calm for those around you.
You are social and communicate fluently in Dutch and English, both orally and in writing.
You think out-of-the-box: you can deal with a diverse audience: from metalheads to techno ravers, from young people to business people: you are a professional chameleon.
You do not have a 9-to-5 mentality and do not lose sleep over night work. You work smoothly with your equally smooth colleagues to achieve a joint result.
You are hands-on and proactive, and your professional attitude strengthens the Trix brand.
You appreciate the work of the volunteers and look forward to getting to know them.
Being able to distinguish a microphone from a hi-hat is always a plus in our sector...
