Maan de Steenwinkel won The Voice of Holland in 2016 and has since become a phenomenon in the Netherlands. Dauw
DAUW is a Dutch synth-pop band that creates a space where melancholy and hope meet, blending dreamy soundscapes with honest lyrics in their native language. Their music feels like a soft mist: familiar, mysterious, and saturated with emotion.
In 2025, DAUW released their debut EP 'Zweefvliegtuig'. Each track floats somewhere between lightness and weight, capturing that specific feeling of wanting to escape while also longing to hold on. With synths that nod to the '80s and lyrics that feel straight from the heart, DAUW crafts a sound that is both nostalgic and refreshingly modern.
