Ryan Beatty

Ryan Beatty has perfected the art of a quiet captivation. His journey began over a decade ago in the hyper-polished world of teen-pop, racking up millions of views on YouTube. Yet, instead of riding the wave of predictable mainstream stardom, he made a sharp U-turn. Beatty intentionally stepped out of the blinding spotlight and into the background, operating as a crucial studio insider and becoming the defining vocal backbone for hip-hop collective BROCKHAMPTON, while quietly collaborating with visionaries like Tyler, The Creator.

Those years spent recalibrating in the shadows laid the groundwork for his definitive solo sound. Across his critically acclaimed discography — shifting from the sun-dazed alt-R&B of Boy in Jeans to the sparse, americana-tinged folk of Calico — Beatty shines brightest when he strips everything away. He relies heavily on the power of restraint. There are no heavy beats or fleeting sonic trends here; just a lush tapestry of stacked harmonies, acoustic arrangements, and highly conversational, poetic songwriting about love, isolation, and navigating early adulthood. Beatty doesn’t construct his songs to fill massive stadiums, but to create an unbreakable, almost uncomfortably close connection with whoever is listening.

girlsweetvoiced

With her blend of folk and pop, Canadian singer girlsweetvoiced quickly caught the attention of millions online. Her true breakthrough came with the single “tonight,” which samples Joni Mitchell’s iconic “California”, with personal approval from Mitchell herself.

Her stage name stems from a fragment of poetry by the ancient Greek poet Sappho, an influence that clearly resonates throughout her music. Central to her work are themes of love, longing, and the female experience, which she translates into dreamlike tracks on her debut project Lovesweet. What started with raw, self-produced beats on a simple MIDI keyboard has been elevated to the next level on this EP with the help of top producer Michael Uzowuru (Beyoncé, FKA Twigs, SZA).
