Signs of the Swarm

On their sixth album To Rid Myself of Truth, Pittsburgh heavyweights Signs of the Swarm stretch far beyond their original deathcore blueprint. In its place stands a serrated, groove-heavy metal machine that draws as much from Meshuggah and Gojira as it does from the scene they came up in. Between the crushing blast beats and chorus-driven chaos, vocalist David Simonich dives into his rawest vulnerabilities yet, grappling with a degenerative eye disorder and opening up about his battle with addiction. Forget trend-chasing or algorithm-bait; this is pure, all-encompassing rage.

ten56.

Since tearing onto the scene in 2021, Franco-British powerhouse ten56. has been relentlessly pushing the boundaries of modern metalcore. Blending suffocating nu-metal bounce, blown-out industrial electronics, and the unhinged vocal delivery of ex-Betraying the Martyrs frontman Aaron Matts, the band delivers pure, claustrophobic catharsis. Following up their punishing debut Downer with their latest record IO, ten56. has spent the last few years tearing up stages alongside While She Sleeps and Northlane. No fluff, no compromise: just an aggressive, industrial-weighted wall of sound built to level the room.

Oceans Ate Alaska
Has already performed at Trix in 08.2017

Pioneering high-octane "pedal-to-the-metalcore," Birmingham’s Oceans Ate Alaska stands at the absolute pinnacle of tech-metal. Their sound is a hyper-technical, chaotic blur of complex polyrhythms, unpredictable tempo shifts, and crushing breakdowns balanced by atmospheric melodies. Stripping away predictable formulas, they deliver a surgically precise, breathtaking ride built to tear moshpits apart.

Face Yourself

Crossing continents with a classical edge and Myspace-era deathcore roots, Face Yourself is moving at breakneck speed. With members spread across the US and France, the band unleashes crushing breakdowns paired with the terrifying vocal range of frontwoman Yasmine Liverneaux. Stripped of empty posturing, their music delivers raw, cathartic lyrics about personal trauma wrapped in unrelenting walls of sound.
