De Amerikaanse Nu Metal-band DED rijsde uit de assen van Man Made Machine en Greeley Estates. In 2016 losten ze hun debuutnummer FMFY gevolgd door een eerste album Mis•an•thrope in 2017, en strikte ze Korn als grote fans, die hen niet één, maar twee keer mee op tour namen. Later volgden ook tours met P.O.D., Blessthefall, The World Alive en vele anderen.
Inspiratie halen ze bij zowel Korn en Pantera, als Slipknot en Bring Me The Horizon, en daarmee klinkt hun muziek als moderne hardrock die moeiteloos blendt in alternatieve metal.
