Flashback: some time in the past, A.A. Bondy was leadsinger and guitarist in the Southern rockband Verbena. When this band called it quits, Bondy went solo and released three excellent albums between 2007 and 2011, on which he perfectly broadcasted his love for folk, acoustic guitars and harmonica. After that, he disappeared for eight years and now he is back. The mysterious musician Auguste Arthur Bondy was back, with a new album called Enderness, on which he infiltrates his familiar folk sound with subtle synths.
“It is hard to think of a better soundtrack to what currently seems like our inevitable demise, and Bondy captures it with a twinkle of mischief.” - Popmatters
