CROSSING BORDER ANTWERPEN

The festival features a program full of literature and music, with upcoming talent and established names from home and abroad.

The blood crawls where it can't go, because after nine long years, international literature and music festival Crossing Border returned to Antwerp in 2022. This year we are back for the second edition, with a festival on November 2 on several stages in De Studio.

The festival features a program full of literature and music, with upcoming talent and established names from home and abroad. Crossing Border Antwerp is organized in collaboration with De Studio, Arenberg, Trix, Antwerpen Boekenstad and is the openingsevent of November Boekenmaand.

With Trix we provide the musical content of the festival. We would like to introduce to you: Use Knife and Zero Years Kid, two Belgian gems with their own unique sound. Furthermore, dj end and Shoplifter will also provide the appropriate musical fun!

The full line-up and more information can be found on this separate festival website.

Zero Years Kid

Zero Years Kid is the creative outlet of Belgian clarinetist and saxophonist Joachim Badenhorst in which he experiments with music and language. In 2019 he released his debut album 'Unrhymed Rhymes' together with drummer Seán Carpio. The young pop group consists now of four experienced musicians. Together they create a musical cocktail of jazz, electronic music, pop and R&B. While playing with rhythm and language, they look for that bright spot in the dark. A quest where humor is indispensable and your eardrums are tickled.
