Our Artist in Residence Fortress made a fantastic concert film over the past few months, directed by Tijs Torfs (the brother of singer Hanne) who already won multiple awards with his captivating documentary Bertha en de Wolfram and the poetic short film Graven.
Expect a fillm with an ingenious light show, virtuoso dancers and musicians overflowing with love for their craft.
After the film there will be a Q&A and an intimate live concert of the band.
Fortress
The Belgian-Dutch synthpop trio Fortress makes dark, spherical electronics, carried by the voice of Hanne Torfs, you may know as the keyboardist of School is Cool. Together with Dutch producer Ruben den Brok and bass player Nils Tijtgat, she creates an uplifting, brooding sound that makes it hard to stop.
