Live from Trix: Danny Blue + Quiet Light

Recently, Trix has been floating through space, because with Live From Trix, we're taking over the airwaves! In our radio show on We Are Various, music, artists, and creativity come together.

A few times a month, we bring you live radio from the Noordersingel, featuring in-depth conversations, unique musical performances, and a look at the wider music scene. We take you behind the scenes of Trix, where we welcome artists, residents, and music lovers.

On May 29, Danny Blue brings his dreamy indie rock to our Bar, and for just €5, you can discover the dreamy, ethereal sound of Quiet Light in the Café!

Danny Blue

Danny Blue is back, and they mean business. Once known as Danny Blue and the Old Socks, the band first made waves in 2017 with their EP 'Backyard Days' and breakout hit 'Belgian Venice'. Their dreamy yet infectious indie rock filled venues and led to the release of 'BOYS' in 2020.

After five years of silence, they return in their original four-piece lineup: Denis De Meester (drums), Rint Mennes (bass), Robin Declerck (guitar), and Sam De Nef (vocals, guitar). Their sound blends shoegaze, grunge catharsis, and indie rock, with lyrics that dance between nostalgia and reinvention. Shedding part of their name but none of their spirit, Danny Blue remains a tribute to friendship, late nights, and the kind of music that finds its way into your soul.
