Live From Trix: Kleine Crack & Slagter takeover + Du Blonde

Recently, Trix has been floating through space, because with Live From Trix, we're taking over the airwaves! In our radio show on We Are Various, music, artists, and creativity come together.

A few times a month, we broadcast live radio straight from the Noordersingel — featuring in-depth conversations, unique musical performances, and a closer look at the wider music scene. We take you behind the scenes at Trix, where we welcome artists, residents, and music lovers alike.

This week’s guests: Kleine Crack & Slagter take over the station for a heavy session, followed by a visit from Du Blonde.

/ Evil, angry, harsh, unpleasant, and unapologetic. The duo Kleine Crack & Slagter hail from “the anna” (Antwerp) and embody everything dark and menacing. Kleine Crack raps, Slagter delivers the beats. Both Trix residents are signed to the Dutch label Burning Fik (founded by Faberyayo & Abel) and also drive their own collective, VHS, short for Very Hard Songs, bringing together a crew of Antwerp talent that loves to go hard. As a duo, they’re just as fierce. With their EP series CRACK SLAGTER, now eight volumes deep, they’ve firmly claimed their spot in the Belgian scene.

/ Du Blonde is the untamed alter ego of Beth Jeans Houghton, musician, producer, visual artist, and all-round creative with a deep love for DIY. Blending punk, alt-rock, and power pop, she smashes through genres and expectations. Through her own label, Daemon T.V., she keeps full control over every part of her craft, from production to artwork and music videos bursting with humor and honesty. Her album Sniff More Gritty is raw, fierce, and uncompromising, just like her live shows, known for their high energy and emotional release.
