Napalm Death gb

Napalm Death is a grindcore/death metal band from Birmingham, England. The band was formed in the village of Meriden near Birmingham, England in 1981 by Nicholas Bullen and Miles Ratledge. Although other groups had previously played fast and aggressive music, Napalm Death is credited with defining the Grindcore genre through its fusion of punk and metal musical structures, aggressive playing, fast tempos, and deep guttural vocals. There are no original members left in the band: indeed, the early history of the band is one of constant member rotation - by the second side of its debut album "Scum" in 1987, the band did not contain any original members. Napalm Death have released 15 albums to date, the latest being "Apex Predator - Easy Meat". MISERY INDEX

Misery Index take their name from the economic indicator that expresses the economic situation of the average Joe in relation to the current unemployment rate. It is also the name of the last album of Florida death grind meisters Assück, whom Misery Index quote as a source of inspiration. Founded in the early 21st century in Baltimore, Misery Index are a death metal outfit that incorporates hardcore punk and grindcore elements into their music. Their lyrics are anti-establishment and dissect the ills of modern society.

Their debut ‘Retaliate’ (2003) is every bit as aggressive as you might expect of ex-Dying Fetus members Jason Netherton (bass/vocals) and Sparky Voyles (guitar). A collection of 10 bludgeoning tracks deliver savagery from start to finish without unnecessary frills. Extensive touring and a universally praised, more varied sophomore album (‘Discordia’, 2006) helped cement their reputation on the extreme metal scene. Several critically acclaimed albums followed such as 2014’s ‘The Killing Gods’ with its more intricate and melodic approach. Their new album, ‘Complete Control’, is set for a May 2022 release and features nine pandemic-spawned tracks that draw heavily on the band’s enduring brutal hardcore and grindcore influences.

After a slew of underground releases, singles and EPs, the band unleashed their debut album "Under Pressure" in 1997 on Repulse Records and "Drain" followed in 1998. On year 2002 Rotten Sound released the genre-defining Murderworks (Necropolis/Century Media), one of the corner-stones of modern grindcore and after the release, Rotten Sound found themselves headlining a European tour. http://www.rottensound.com/ http://rottensound.bandcamp.com/ http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rotten_Sound http://www.discogs.com/artist/293762-Rotten-Sound On January 2005 Spinefarm released "Exit"-album, which went immediately to the Finnish charts and stayed for three weeks. "Exit" also received praising reviews from different medias around the world and was claimed as one of the most important extreme releases of the year 2005. After the release of "Exit" Rotten Sound toured in Scandinavia, U.S. and went on a second headlining tour in Europe during January 2006. Sami Latva joined Rotten Sound in February 2006 to replace long-time drummer, Kai Hahto. The band was expecting to go on a hiatus in 2006, but, thanks to Sami, could start to prepare for the next studio session immediately. They recorded eight new songs for "Consume to Contaminate"-MCD during April 2006. Lyrical content of "Consume to Contaminate" is handling again difficult issues on this globe with loads of cynisism and a touch of death. Rotten Sound has made four full length albums, ten shorter releases, five European tours, two U.S.-tours, three scandinavian tours and is one of the leading bands in grind-core. Now "Consume to Contaminate" introduces the new heavy, aggressive and insane Rotten Sound: a band which is prepared to take destructive powers of grind-core a few big leaps ahead.
