Phosphorescent
Third (or fourth) time’s the charm. It’s been since 2019 that Phosphorescent - you know, the man who created a timeless classic with Song for Zula, earning a rare 8.8 score on Pitchfork - last graced our stage. His first visit to Trix was exactly 16 years ago. It’s high time to welcome Matthew Houck, master of solid indie-country folk, back to our venue.
On his latest album, Revelator, he explores the balance between dreams and reality, personal and global anxieties, and the enduring search for understanding and connection. His sound is delicate, ethereal, yet raw. An intimate journey through life.
