Sound Track: Het Bos, Antwerpen

Discover the future sound of Antwerp front row!

For the fourth year in a row, VI.BE is joining forces with the Clubcircuit for Sound Track, much more than a music contest. After weeks of deliberation, a jury of ambassadors and programmers selected 144 musical acts out of 1,297 submissions to give their best live during the preliminary rounds. This edition gives more artists than ever the chance to share their musical stories live. Go discover them in underground youth centers, established clubs, and cultural venues from Limburg to West Flanders!

Crimson Bullet Generation

Crimson Bullet Generation is a five-headed beast from Belgium’s quiet Kempen region, refusing to be boxed into genres. With cello, pounding drums, gritty guitars, grooving basslines, and profound vocals, they craft a distinctive sound that shifts between raw and melancholic. Their debut EP Crimson Market showcased a fresh set of mood swings and teenage angst that explode on stage. Compared to bands like Sonic Youth, Wilco, and The Last Dinner Party, Crimson Bullet Generation remains unapologetically their own.

Gone Icon

gone icon is the left-field alter ego of Jonas Steurs, a lyrical refuge as much for the subconscious as for innocent verses. A breathless voice, entwined with the precision of your favorite melody. The scar blooms, hope bleeds. The sound is emotional, intimate, and often euphoric. Together with multi-instrumentalist Michiel Dondeyne, he has crafted a new world. And a new EP, 'for your ears only'. In it, he dissects heartbreak, loss, and doubt in an almost suffocating way. The result sounds like dark post-pop, a blend of acoustic instruments, a touch of electronics, and a stray drop of Y2K nostalgia.
