Logic Pro X is one of the most powerful Digital Audio Workstations for musicians and producers. Logic Pro X is used worldwide in professional studios.
During this workshop, we will explore Logic Pro X through exercises and projects designed to strengthen your knowledge and creative skills in music production. By using an existing Logic Pro X track, you will learn everything from the buildup of a song to mixing the song in 4 courses.
Lesson 1: INTRODUCTION / BEAT PROGRAMMING
- Introduction Logic / set up session
- programming beats with samples and midi
- punchy bassdrum sounds, snappy snares and funky hihats
- mixing beats with EQ, compression and distortion
Lesson 2: BASS PROGRAMMING
- from sub to punch
- bass vs kick: sidechaining is the answer!
- bass in de mix
Lesson 3: SYNTHS AND VOCALS
- programming and modulating synths
- mixing synths withEQ, delay and reverb
- editing vocals with FX
Lesson 4: MIXING
- EQ, depth and a balanced stereo image
- inserts and automatisation
- mastering with Logic plugins
- bouncing and exporting the mix

For whom? Anyone who is older that 15 years. You don't need any knowledge about the subject beforehand.
When? On Mondays 1, 8, 15 & 22 November, from 19h30 to 22h30.
