Open call: Rehearsing at Stuivenberg

Trix lives for music. For musicians, for the city, and for the love of our audience. That’s why we’re launching a new project in Stuivenberg. Soon, we will open the doors to a brand new initiative: a temporary workspace for artists in the former Stuivenberg Hospital in Antwerp. A place where creation, experimentation, and development are at the heart. With Trix in Stuivenberg, we offer young and mid-career artists a base for those in need of their own space to create, grow, and simply rehearse intensely.

Are you a musician or creator looking for space to write, produce, or experiment? Apply now via our open call. We will select six artists who can have a workspace in this unique building for up to one year.

/ Open Day

Would you like to see what a rehearsal space in an old hospital looks like in person? On Saturday, May 24th, we are opening our doors for an open day from 2 pm to 6 pm. Come by, explore the spaces, and ask your questions!

/ What?

We offer various rehearsal and workspaces to young and mid-career creators who are professionally involved in music.

Each space is equipped with curtains, speakers, and a vocal setup. Renters will receive their own key and 24/7 access to the building for the duration of their rental. Rehearsals can take place between 10 am and 10 pm.

/ Price & Rental Conditions

A standard space costs €150 per month. The large space costs €250. For a separate storage space you pay €50 extra per month. The rental period is for a maximum of one year, with one month’s notice required.

For selecting rehearsal space users, we also take these criteria into account:

  • You're professional and serious about your music career (not just a casual thing).
  • You have a demonstrable need for space.
  • You live in the City of Antwerp or the wider surrounding area.

Ready to make Stuivenberg your creative base? Join the open call, and who knows, you might soon be working on your next project here.
