Anaïs Djenebou Koné - Photographer

Through photography, Anaïs Djenebou Koné captures encounters. For her, these moments create alternative worlds of liberation centered on surrendering to the unknown. Combined with the slower pace of analog techniques, her art creates a space for connection, play, curiosity, and resistance.

Anaïs is an artist and photographer based in Antwerp, currently studying photography at the Academy of Fine Arts in Anderlecht. She also works as a tour guide and workshop facilitator at FOMU, and is a resident concert photographer at Trix in Antwerp.

In this search for liberation, she focuses on collective consciousness, in which nature plays a crucial role. Ecosystems form the foundation of our mutual connection and carry collective memories. By documenting encounters with strangers, Anaïs builds a collective archive, inviting the audience to intentionally keep choosing tenderness, a core component of systemic change.
