Saino
Saino (/s-ae-n-o/) is a self-taught producer and visual artist from Antwerp, Belgium. What began as a love for lo-fi sounds and atmospheres quickly grew into an obsession with ambient and electronic music. Saino creates music in the space between silence and movement: from quiet, introspective tracks that slow down time, to songs that feel like a dance floor in your mind. His soundscapes invite listeners to disconnect from reality — whether walking at night, studying, or sitting on the train.
Last year, Saino was Young Artist in Residence at Trix, where he experimented, grew as an artist, and shared his sound with the Belgian audience. This year, he returns as Artist in Residence to build on that experience: he is working on finishing and releasing new songs, developing his live set, and collaborating with other artists as a producer. His music is influenced by artists such as C418, Alicks / A L E X, Samuele CYMA, Niels Orens, Bonobo, tomcbumpz, Four Tet, and Logomyx, each shaping his creative world in their own way. For Saino, everything is a blur — and that’s exactly what makes life beautiful.
