Dodi Espinosa
Dodi works with a clear goal in his project Banana Republic: exploring the history of the banana industry and the role of American fruit companies in Latin America. Using camouflage patterns built from maps, borderlines, and landscape structures, he translates this research into visual and printed works. During his residency, he will develop a new piece and further explore the potential of graphic art in a social context, with a focus on colorful abstractions.
