Ellen Verbiest
Ellen has a background in architecture and urban planning, which forms an important reference in her work. She creates geometric line drawings that visualize processes in her pieces. During her residency, she will explore how rhythm can guide direction, drawing inspiration from musical performances and observations. She has long-standing ties to music, having printed designs on shirts for underground parties and events such as Onder Stroom, Out of Space, Kamping Kerosine, and Geluidsgolve.
