This summer, Trix is once again hosting a five-day Hip Hop Camp from Monday 13 to Friday 17 July, and this year we’re expanding with an extra Beatmakers Camp!

During the camp, you’ll learn how to create your own beats, both analog and digital. You’ll work on rapping and freestyling and discover how to develop your flow and personal style. We focus on songwriting, teaching you how to write strong lyrics and build catchy hooks. Additionally, you’ll have the chance to record your track in real studio sessions. We also organize a photoshoot and a mini video clip, so you’ll leave with not just a track, but also visual material.

Throughout the week, rappers and beatmakers work closely together to merge music and lyrics into one cohesive piece. 

Your goal for the week: create your own track and perform it during the showcase at Trix – Venster (19:00–20:00)

Practical Information

/ When?

Monday 13 to Friday 17 August 2025, from 10:00 to 16:00 each day.

/ For whom?

For young people aged 14 to 17, beginners and advanced alike. Whether you’re just starting out or already have experience, coaching will be tailored to your level.

/ New this year: Beatmakers Camp

Beatmakers and rappers collaborate on original tracks. During the studio sessions, the songs are recorded in our professional studio. When signing up, you can indicate whether you want to focus on rapping or beatmaking.
