SPOOR series #4: Maxim Van Cauwenberge & Ellen Vangheluwe + ...

Talk + Drink & Draw / open idea exchange based on 2D media and print.

Welcome to the SPOOR series – a monthly meetup in our screen print studio SPOOR!
Once a month, one of our SPOOR residents curates a talk to present their own work and engage in conversation with another visual artist. Afterwards, we host a Drink & Draw session, where you can join in on a relaxed drawing session — drink in one hand, pen in the other.

Exchange and collaboration are at the heart of this series.
Looking for inspiration, new ideas, or creative output around all things 2D media and print? Then this is the place to be.

/ Maxim Van Cauwenberge & Ellen Vangheluwe

As an artist duo, Maxim Van Cauwenberge and Ellen Vangheluwe are currently working towards an exhibition at Kavka, set for summer 2025.
A major source of inspiration for both is the graphic design of music albums and posters. Music plays a vital role in their practice. One of their current ideas is to create a publication referencing The Wedding Album by Yoko Ono and John Lennon, emphasizing this strong connection.

/ About SPOOR

SPOOR exists at the intersection of visual art and music — a space where musicians create screen prints, illustrators and designers swap mixtapes, and visual artists step out of the studio to design LPs.
At its core, SPOOR specializes in screen printing, but it’s also a laboratory for experimentation, where connection, exchange and creation are central.
