Statement Villagers:
"Due to ongoing Covid restrictions in some parts of Europe we will be rescheduling our January Tour to May 2022. At this stage we have been unable to secure availability to reschedule the shows in Antwerp, Paris and Zurich so unfortunately these dates will be cancelled for now and all tickets refunded. Apologies to anyone affected by this. We hope to be able to play for you again in the near future."

Het Ierse Villagers debuteerde in 2010 met 'Becoming A Jackal'. De band rond Conor O'Brien was toen nog een minimalistisch eenmansproject. Intussen is hij met 'Fever Dreams' al aan zijn vijfde plaat.
Het album werd al geschreven voor de pandemie, maar de lockdown zorgde ervoor dat O'Brien ze kon perfectioneren in zijn thuisstudio tot een wonderbaarlijk mooi album waarover Dansende Beren zei: "Deze band blijft alleen maar beter worden".
O’Brien zelf over het album: “I had an urge to write something that was as generous to the listener as it was to myself. Sometimes the most delirious states can produce the most ecstatic, euphoric and escapist dreams.”
