Not only does it take considerable dedication to the name ‘Gnome’ to wear silly pointy red hats on stage, you then also have to rock very hard to have the crowd take you seriously. Lucky enough, Gnome manages just that. Beyond the tongue-in-cheek stage act (and a somewhat goofy sense of humour in titles and lyrics), these Belgians offer up a stew of Melvins sludge, Red Fang stoner, a hint of Tool and a dash of Primus. Not yer average garden gnomes!
