20 jaar Trix
Want to discover the line-up? Scroll down if you dare...
Time flies when you’re having fun. So we must have had a lot of fun, because the past 20 years really just flew by. We’ve shared our love for music, the city and rising stars for two decades now. And we are eternally grateful for every second of it. So we were thinking: what about we throw a big party to say a big thank you. 21 September 2024 will mark the day of an iconic marathon. Expect a day where everything, and we really mean everything, can happen. We would sooo love to have you with us. So take your agenda, buy your ticket and mark the date!
What do you buy a ticket for? We won't be communicating about the line-up for a while yet. What we can already tell you is that it will be Trix through and through for 20 hours. We want to look back and forward together with the dearest audience. At our birthday party we celebrate everything we experienced together and everything we will experience together in the future. So think in the direction of concerts, special acts, workshops, showcases, feedback sessions, karaoke, screen printing, raves, expo, food, silent disco... and so much more. You immediately understand that your presence is very much needed, because without an audience there is no Trix. Get your ticket quickly and see you at the party soon.

Baptiste Vanmaercke earned the nickname “Albino” as a child due to his striking snow-white hair. As B!NO, he navigates between the Antwerp hip-hop scene and influences like Loyle Carner, channeling introspection, vulnerability, and love into powerful choruses and intimate ballads. In 2024, he became the youngest Artist In Residence at Trix, where he pieced together the fragments of a shadowy period into his debut album. Live, he takes his audience on an emotional rollercoaster where hands rise high and tears are welcome. This young artist from Lier is bursting with energy, intensity, and ready to send his deepest emotions out into the world.

Borokov Borokov
Borokov Borokov makes music you can dance to. What that sounds like in reality? According to the band itself something like: angular synth pop, ... work incapacitated hi-NRG, krauttrock with a double 't', supra-freudian elektrapunk, birthday-themed acid house, no-no wave, polyphonic panic attacks or multilingual lamentation. It’s clear the gentlemen of Borokov Borokov aren’t fans of restrictions. Something they like big time, however, is amping up crowd. They will have you jumping, screaming, sweating in no time.

Emma Hessels^BE^
Sometimes, you just need everything to go quiet for a moment. When emotions take over, hearts beat a little louder, and a voice from another world hits you right in the soul. Emma Hessels is exactly that kind of artist. Armed with nothing more than hervoice and guitar, she effortlessly balances on the edge of longing, love, andloneliness. Her presence is both delicate and powerful, simply too beautiful to ignore. Since being selected as a laureate of Sound Track 2023, Emma Hessels has been winning hearts across the country, one show at a time. Emma’s single ‘Insular’ was released on 9 May 2025. This is the first single of her upcoming debut EP, which will be released coming fall via Unday Records.
Emo Night
Emo Night means dancing to the saddest sing-alongs. Think: My Chemical Romance, Paramore, Jimmy Eat World, The Used, and many more
Faisal
Fantom
Fantom might be of German origin but that doesn’t mean he cherishes Belgium any less. You know him from his pop bangers and as Trix Artist in Residence. His first EP, released in 2022, was fully English. This time around he decided to embrace his roots. The new record “Schmerz” will be completely German and heavily influenced by the Berlin underground. Curious to know what that would sound like? His first single “Tunnelblick” gives you a delicious taste of what’s to come.
The Go Find & Friends
You know The Go Find as a musical breeze machine. They are bringing Few Bits and Styrofoam to the stage with them. Nice and floaty.
Hellraiser
Curious about the Antwerp hiphop scene? Rare Akuma invites you to Hellraiser for a time full of Bass music, hiphop and techno.
Grime
20 years of Trix is a festive affair. So you might want to look the part. No worries, we have got you covered. You can pop by or make up booth to get the craziest look or the most beautiful bedazzling.
Kakakaraoke
What’s in a name? In the case of Kakakaraoke pretty much everything actually. They are a live karaoke band that only plays in toilets. Screaming the lyrics of your favourite tracks from the comfort of the porcelain throne? Something like that.
Kevin Kofii
DJ and producer Kevin Kofii is a known figure in Antwerp. His trademark lush productions and the wide variety of influences in his mixes make him a force to be reckoned with. Kofii also knows a thing or two about organising. In his radio show Koffi Pauze he invites international DJ’s to share mixes. During his residency in Trix he will experiment with various genres ranging from Electro, to UK Funk, Amapiano, and much more.
Lil Alia
Deep trap beats, synths and spherical harmonies. Sensitive, definitely not-bad-ass lyrics. About cat raincoats, a little too close bond with your nintendo dog and someone who loves your never-tidy hair. Lil Alia suggests: "fluffy trap."
Throughout her life, Linde harbored an affinity for hip-hop, although she couldn't reconcile her image as a sensitive, sugary animal lover with being a rapper. Until she decided to radicalize in her atypical softness and come out with her self-invented genre 'fluffy trap'. Lil Alia is a theatrical experience. Expect a good dose of humor and self-relativization, interspersed with deep vulnerability and melancholy.
Mojo & The Kitchen Brothers
The Belgian six-piece Mojo & The Kitchen Brothers conjures the raw zeitgeist of the early 70s. Their brand of heavy prog-rock echoes the titans of the era—think Black Sabbath, Wishbone Ash, and Pink Floyd. Yet, they are far more than a nostalgia trip; deeply rooted alongside their psych-rock contemporaries, they lead the listener through a limbo between the past and the present.
"The real treasure was the friends we made along the way." To celebrate this hopelessly cheesy but undeniably true platitude, Mojo & The Kitchen Brothers have invited two absolute heavyweights from the Dutch psychedelic scene. On May 2nd, they join forces to lift the Belgian audience high above Trix for a night of sonic levitation.
Miss Angel & Friends
Ook de onvoorstelbaar getalenteerde, charismatische Miss Angel komt nog eens piepen bij Trix. Om het feest des te groot te vieren heeft ze vrienden bij. Che, Le Bruce en Lyna zakken mee af naar Borgerhout.
Nachtraven
What if your favourite fairy tales were written by Soulwax, Herman van Veen and David Lynch? Nachtraven gladly answers this question for you. Their performance can only be described as rave-theatre. The best fever dream you’ll ever have.
Piffy & Friends
RAPHA
RAPHA is a 23-year-old rising pop artist from Belgium with Congolese roots. After winning MNM Rising Star (2020) and Soundtrack (2023), she released her debut EP Circus in May. Circus tells the story of the “clown of the group”: the one who keeps everyone laughing while quietly struggling on the inside. With each track, RAPHA lets the mask slip further, revealing the self-doubt and healing beneath.
She is currently working on new music set for release in 2026. Inspired by Olivia Rodrigo, Rachel Chinouriri, Ravyn Lenae and Billie Eilish, RAPHA creates honest, vulnerable pop about the messiness of growing up, mental health, and identity.
Rockokaraoko
Sad Banana
The world through the eyes of a banana. A concert filled with lyrics that meander from megalomania and panic attack. Vulnerable and kitsch. Sad!

Slumberland
With Slumberland, Belgian musician, composer and instrument maker Jochem Baelus has been unleashing obscure, hypnotic krautrock and post punk colored with distorted exotica, upon us since 2013. Slumberland's tactile sound is generated by a battery of sewing machines, film projectors and other dismantled, mechanical objects.
So far, he released a solo album, the 2019 release 'Sea, sea, sea Drifter // See, see, see Drifter', alongsided by 2 drummers and a recent collaboration with Tuvan voice-artist Sainkho Namtchylak. But last year Jochem Baelus also constructed a brand new sound installation which he takes on the road solo. Expect rattling drones of motoric 'bagpipes' grinding, accompanied by compelling, melodic & minimal compositions and complete stillness.
Toubab Bougnoul
Toubab Bougnoul is a transdisciplinary Afro-European collective blending dance, music, visuals, scent, and performance. Their work explores what happens when language fails: meaning hides in rhythm, movement, and silence. The name, literally “bounty” reflects the inner conflict many Afro-Europeans experience, and becomes a source of humor, power, and imagination. Rhythm is their primal language, a universal carrier of emotion, memory, and connection. Each performance is a live, wordless conversation, where improvisation, energy, and sensory experience take center stage. Audiences are invited not just to watch, but to feel, and to embrace the unknown as an invitation to surrender.
Toxic Shock & Friends
track east
With Track East we offer an easy entry into the world of rap and singing. With workshops and performance time the Track East stars get to fully develop their talents. Track East is a talent development program organized by Fameus, JES, Trix and Rataplan with the support of the City of Antwerp and the Borgerhout district.
VHS DJ's
VHS is an Antwerp-based rap crew featuring Kleine Crack, Slagter, Parsa, Roi, Kleine Kova, and 100GEN. Dark beats, slow-burning grooves, and raw Dutch-language raps, this time in a DJ set.
WALLYN
WALLYN is the musical debut of a queer power ranger collective. What would the world look like if we could create a queer utopia, if the boundaries between gender, queerness and bodies fade or even disappear? With a solid beat as an undertone, WALLYN takes it from concert to night club. Sometimes a communal mourning, often a celebration. Always a party.
WASTE
WASTE makes noise. A lot of noise. The Antwerp-Aarschot band blends noise, grunge, and dark post-punk into an intense, uncompromising sound, featuring manic vocals, pounding drums, heavy basslines, and screeching guitars.
In March 2026, their debut album SCREAM UNTIL IT’S BEAUTIFUL will be released, recorded by Tim De Gieter (Amenra, Doodseskader). The album is hard, danceable, and uncompromising: punk and noise remain at its core, while boundaries blur and experimentation takes the lead. Themes such as mental health, self-acceptance, and societal pressure run as a thread throughout the tracks, all infused with irony and self-mockery. WASTE delivers a soundtrack for the underdogs, outsiders, and anyone embracing imperfection.
This brand-new work will be presented for the first time during their album release show at Trix. The band recently won De Nieuwe Lichting 2026 by Studio Brussel, a further confirmation of their rise in the Belgian music scene.
