Affaire is the electronic rock project of Michiel Ritzen and Nick Caers, blending off-beat drum machines, synths, and stinging guitars into a sound full of twisted energy and raw tension. Former drummers turned experimental creators, Ritzen and Caers bring their unique backgrounds into a high-energy live show. Their upcoming EP 'Internal Swing' (2025) explores themes of escapism, love, and identity with a mix of angular electro and gritty guitar rock. With catchy yet introspective tracks like 'Thoughts and Pleasure' and 'Mountain Energy,' Affaire’s sound is a refreshing mix of the avant-garde and the personal, ready to explode into the scene.

Abel Ghekiere is a Belgian multi-instrumentalist whose sound blends minimalist jazz, traditional folk, and field recordings. His debut album 'Voor het verdwijnt, en daarna' was filled with sadness and loss, but also offered comfort. In his new work, he explores softness, openness, and euphoria. Inspired by artists such as Nils Økland, Sufjan Stevens, and Caroline, Abel employs an intuitive, minimalist songwriting style. His new album 'In de verte, dit uitzicht' will be released on vinyl in February 2025 via Rotkat Records.

Introducing: BAELY, producer and performer, also known as the guitarist of the Waasland-based noise-punk band DAMMIT (winners of De Nieuwe Lichting 2024). With this solo project, BAELY takes a bold new direction. Expect avant-garde sounds reminiscent of SOPHIE and Oneohtrix Point Never, fused with the energy of Skrillex. Unconventional sounds that transcend genres—that's what defines BAELY. Effortlessly blending electro and hyperpop with a hefty dose of punk rock intensity, he creates something truly unique.

Brussels-based Another Dancer is outdated, wild at heart and elegantly shy. They make fresh, snotty, neurotic art-rock deeply rooted in 80s/90s DIY aesthetics. Their debut album ‘I Try to Be Another Dancer’ – released on Aguirre and Bruit Direct Disques – balances gently between forgotten pop hits and broken sound experiments. In their world, any shitload of weird, random, and badly synchronized sounds unveil broken-hearted pop mastery.

The Brussels/Amsterdam-based band Beatrix knows all about royal life. Founded in 2021, the trio bridges the distance between these two cities with their unique blend of post-punk, noise rock, and experimental electronic music. In early 2024, they released their first EP under the Belgian label Kontakt Group.

Benni is a Belgian singer-songwriter, inspired by folk icons such as Damien Rice, Bon Iver, and Phoebe Bridgers. She writes her songs in an intimate and captivating style, where emotion and authenticity take center stage. Her musical journey began with a unique ten-month experience in New Zealand, singing through the streets and bringing heartfelt stories to life. With her indie-folk sound and a voice that turns melancholy into moving beauty, Benni released her debut EP 'Bleeding Colours' in April, a promising new chapter in her burgeoning career.

Bex is a young Brussels-based alt-pop band led by vocalist and producer Rebecca Driesmans, with Louise van den Heuvel (bass) and Victor Khaddaj (drums, synth). Their sound is inspired by Bernice, Knower, and Erykah Badu.

In June 2024, they released their debut EP The Kitchen on Polymoon. The songs tell personal stories and explore coping mechanisms, balancing darkness with absurdity and warmth. Musically, Bex moves between intimate and maximalist atmospheres, carried by Rebecca’s warm, expressive voice.

Bloed is the synth and industrial metal project of brothers Toon (Mother), Tuur (Mother), and sister Fieke (Lightspeed, Ratmosphere) Soete. Starting only in 2022 with writing sessions, they quickly found their sound and identity. This resulted in being selected and eventually crowned as one of the winners of the 2023 edition of Sound Track, a prestigious music competition organized by vi.be. Inspired by their journey Bloed keeps pushing the boundaries sonically and are a force meant to experience live.

Bobbi Lu is the alter ego of British-Bruges Lucy Ryan, who clashes classical piano melodies with deep bass synths, detuned autotune and inventive pop hooks. Influences range from FKA Twigs and Grimes to Radiohead and Caroline Polachek. On October 25, she released her debut album 'Arrow, Four' via Mayway Records. It is a collection of songs that have been created over several years, each with their own story and created in different ways.

A fresh breeze in Belgian jazz: Bodem, the trio led by saxophonist Adia Vanheerentals, brings lyrical melodies and vibrant interaction. Together with drummer Anke Verslype (aki, BRAND!) and guitarist Willem Malfliet (Woolvs), Vanheerentals brings her short, imaginative compositions to life. Their debut 'Kleine Mars', released via MOKUHI Sonorities, blends intimacy with energy. With a second album on the way, Bodem is set to further conquer the jazz scene.

Butchpm is a DJ, prominent figure in the queer scene in Antwerp, and one of the driving forces behind 'Female Boyfriends', a queer & Flinta Club night. In their energetic and euphoric sets they mix nostalgic hard house sounds from the '90s with cutting-edge club, breaks, and (experimental) techno beats of today.

LAURAVIOLI is a familiar fixture of Liège’s nightlife. She, through her work as co-founder of the queer collective “TransPédéGouines” and proud mom of “Who’s That Girl”, has taken part in making the night, queer. Always digging new tracks with the dancefloor in mind, in her sets LAURAVIOLI likes to blend genres and always tries to explore new sounds to create eclectic, technical but dynamic sets. 

Candeur Cyclone blends rock, rap, and techno to explore themes like social pressure and personal struggles across generations. In their album 'Teenage Dirtbag' (2024), they dive into the journey of growing up. With intimate performances and conversations, they create space for reflection and connection. Live, supported by Dani Terreur, they deliver an honest, energetic performance that invites people to come together and think differently.

Catalina has been taking steady leaps in the Brussels electronic music scene. As a regular on the airwaves of Bruzz and Kiosk Radio she’s made a name for herself by exploring the chemistry between deconstructed weighty, percussive tempos and aquatic melodies, all the while borrowing elements from her musical beginnings in the UK. Her textured and uplifting sets are almost extraterrestrial, teleporting the dancefloors further into the stratosphere and beyond with a colourful mutation of leftfield electro, breaks and house.

Brussels-based DJ Stella K is a dynamic force in the European club scene, known for her versatility and distinctive sound. Skillfully moving between genres like jungle, bass, club classics and big room while maintaining an unmatched energy. Whether it’s by curating her show "Deframing the Club" on Lyl Radio Paris or teaching at Psst Mlle DJing workshops at Beursschouwburg, Stella K empowers underrepresented people and promotes FLINTA talents, encouraging new sonic exploration and avant-garde discovery.

Meet Gianmarco Cellini, a Belgian-based artist with proud Italian roots who creates percussion-driven and dancefloor-ready electronic music inspired by traditional influences from across the globe. His eclectic DJ sets go from hard-hitting techno to sublime house music, reflecting his unique perspective on electronic music and his talent for creating an energetic and engaging atmosphere in whichever style he likes. More so, his live sets are characterised by infectious flows, driving basslines, and intricate percussion, creating a rich and textured outcome

that sounds organic and electronic, modern and timeless.

This Brussels band around multi-instrumentalist and producer Frederik Daelemans (Meskerem Mees, Tamino and Beirut) offers a Belgian answer to the London jazz scene. Their debut album 'Opal' was released in 2021 and merges ethereal alternative and modern jazz into a compelling swirl of atmospheric music with flashes of psychedelic post-punk that earned them comparisons with King Krule and Radiohead, among others. They will be releasing new material soon.

COLT, the Brussels-based duo formerly known as Coline & Toitoine, is bringing a fresh perspective to Francophone pop music. Their collaboration is the perfect blend of Coline’s warm and emotive vocals seamlessly merging with Toitoine’s unique, dreamy productions. They’ve already performed on major stages, from Brussels and Paris to New York. Their single "Insomnies" has amassed millions of streams, and their first show in Paris sold out in no time. With the release of their French-language EP "Mille Vies" in September 2023, COLT has taken a big step toward a promising future.

CRACKUPS is a band of extremes: insanely fast, tight, unbelievably loud, yet with a sharp sense of melody and an ear for detail. Their debut album 'Animals On Acid' (2011) quickly gained cult status, further reinforced by the fact that the band hit the pause button shortly thereafter, for an indefinite period. But CRACKUPS always feels like coming home, and in 2019 the band resurfaces. Their second album 'Greetings From Earth' is the musical equivalent of a quadruple espresso: strong garage punk in seven songs and under 18 minutes. The third album is set to be released later this year. The first single, 'Sgt. Haze', leaves no room for ambiguity. It's still fruitless and, to everyone's relief, the search for the handbrake continues. Straightforward with no secrets. Inspired by a record collection that could belong to their parents, Black Flag and Devo meet Viagra Boys and Warmduscher.

As a member of the group NUPS3E, CRC released the sequel to his first solo project, ‘La pluie : Acte 1’, in 2024. In collaboration with musicians Armand trn, Clément Mercier and Maxence Bellard, CRC will present Act 2, a blend of rap, French chanson, R&B and Afro touches. He promises a creative sonic experience, with heartfelt lyrics that create an authentic connection with the audience. CRC's ability to fuse genres makes his next project a captivating and authentic journey.

dg2fx is a Brussels-based instrumentalist, composer, and DJ who enjoys experimenting with a wide range of underground dance music. Depending on the setting and mood, her sets often feature a mix of Afro-diasporic (sub)genres, but when the moment calls for it, she doesn't hesitate to crank up the tempo.

Through co-running Toverberg & OVERLAST, floridada has gotten to know the Belgian scene from up close. floridada brings a mix of the local and hyper-local, with a focus on weird and unhinged club-sounds.

DIDA, also known as the Belgian Dennis Vanderauwera, is a musical pioneer within the Slagwerk label scene. His work balances playful experimentation with profound compositions, inspired by children's library music and legends like Yuu Miyake and Joe Hisaishi. With layered soundscapes and unexpected twists, he creates a unique listening experience that both enchants and challenges.

Anisa El Margai creates a world that can be visited temporarily, where everyone is welcome—if you find the little door.

Belgian composer, vocalist, and multi-instrumentalist Dienne crafts songs and soundscapes that reflect the images and stories playing behind her eyes. Combining analogue instruments like the oboe, piano, and flute with reverb-drenched vocals and glimmers of processed electronics, she creates dreamy pieces filled with the melancholy of memory and loss.

Her debut album Addio (2022) was released on Nicolás Jaar’s Other People label. Following the loss of her grandmother to COVID-19, and unable to say a proper goodbye due to travel restrictions, Dienne turned to music to create her farewell. The result is an intimate work where classical instrumentation merges with hazy electronic experimentation. Memories, biographies, and family histories intertwine in this simultaneously somber and hopeful album, serving as a universal and comforting ode to loved ones lost.

In 2023, Dienne was a resident on Radio Alhara, where she hosted a monthly radio hour featuring carefully curated mixtapes. In between 2023 - 2024 she composed the soundtrack for the film installation Conducturis by Mira Sanders and Cédric Noël, a work that reflects on the tension between nature and technology. This project culminated in a full-length album: Conducturis. Released in January 2025 on Cortizona Records.

There’s just no way we can harvest all the local talent at once, but we sure as hell do our best. Divided are one of those bands that quickly attract your attention when heard for the first time, and then proceed to blow your guts wide open once witnessed live. Blurring the line between post-rock and post-hardcore, Divided is onto something epic here and we’re getting stoked by the sheer thought of it.

DracoBoy is an artist from Brussels who has established himself in the underground scene. His music combines influences from rap, trap, rock and electronic experimental music, resulting in an atypical style that he himself calls "Syntrap". After performances at the Out Loud Festival in the Beursschouwburg, the Summer Music Festival in Boussu and the Insane Festival in the South of France, DracoBoy sees 2025 as a defining year in which he wants to take his music to new heights.

Echofarmer is the project of Arne Nuyts, a Brussels-based producer and musician. His music blends experimental electronics and post-dubstep, featuring off-kilter grooves and deep sub-basses. Nuyts combines digital synths, acoustic instruments, and field recordings to create complex musical landscapes, suited for both the club scene and immersive listening experiences. After his successful singles, such as 'beginning would have been outside' and 'sylph weaving,' he continues to evolve his sound. He has already performed at festivals like Brussels Jazz Weekend and Boomtown. 

Eosine is a Belgian indie-rock band from Liège, led by 22-year-old Elena Lacroix. Their ethereal shoegaze influences blend with captivating vocals, heartfelt melodies, and progressive song structures. Perfect for fans of My Bloody Valentine, Lush, or Psychotic Monks. With psychedelic, high-energy live shows and performances at festivals like Les Nuits Botanique, Dour, and Left Of The Dial, Eosine has quickly established themselves as one of Wallonia’s most exciting new acts. In 2023, they signed with Mayway Records, and new singles and their EP 'Liminal' are coming soon, with a debut album planned for 2026.

Félicette is a project by Sam (Brorlab, Bontridders, Kotskat). Originally conceived as a way to experiment with turntablism and sound, the project gradually evolved into a more traditional singer-songwriter style with folk elements. It resides somewhere between the ethereal atmosphere of Grouper, the introspection of h hunt, and the raw noise of teen suicide. Live performances feature Sam joined by Mathilde Luijten (I’m The Hug, Overlast) and Abel Ghekiere.

Gaiko (formerly known as Kaito) is a Brussels-based DJ, producer and live performer with a background in jazz and a flair for experimentation. His sound, blending IDM, jungle, breakbeat, trance, hip-hop and more, balances fragmented percussion with dreamy, elegant harmonies. In 2023, he released his debut album on the Nous’klaer Audio label, reshaping club music into layered, cinematic electronics. He also curates a monthly radio show on BRUZZ, spotlighting alternative electronic music.

gone icon is the left-field alter ego of Jonas Steurs, a lyrical refuge as much for the subconscious as for innocent verses. A breathless voice, entwined with the precision of your favorite melody. The scar blooms, hope bleeds. The sound is emotional, intimate, and often euphoric. Together with multi-instrumentalist Michiel Dondeyne, he has crafted a new world. And a new EP, 'for your ears only'. In it, he dissects heartbreak, loss, and doubt in an almost suffocating way. The result sounds like dark post-pop, a blend of acoustic instruments, a touch of electronics, and a stray drop of Y2K nostalgia. 

If Jazz Sanusi’s energy doesn’t blow you away her voice surely will. The Belgian-Nigerian artist dishes out a delicious R&B sound. Her tunes float in the spaces between Jazz, Blues, Disco, Soul and HipHop. The Trix Artist in Residence presents us her EP Tender Toughness. The five tracks all underscore the immense strength in vulnerability. Important to add is that Jazz is one of those artists you need to see live. Her presence on stage is truly unmatched.

Jean Valery, known from the hip-hop duo blackwave, steps forward with his solo project. He delivers a fresh, genre-defying sound that seamlessly blends hip-hop, alternative rap, and rock. Think dreamy melodies, sharp lyrics, and an energetic vibe reminiscent of Dominic Fike and Gorillaz. His music feels like a journey: intense, immersive, and always unexpected. With a unique style and boundless creativity, Jean Valery is ready to set the tone for the next generation of artists.

The Belgian producer and DJ Jennifur is known for his captivating melodies that transport you to a world of freedom, friendship, and nostalgia. Sturdy IDM elements blend with mellow electronics, creating a dreamy whole. Together with Thibault Goudket on drums and Michiel Ardaen on bass and guitar, Jennifur leads the ensemble with bass and top synths, creating a dynamic live experience.

Junior is a six-piece indie rock band that has been making waves since the release of their well-received EP “Are We There Yet?”. With the upcoming release of their debut full album, "Eternal Stumble," in early 2024, Junior takes up the mantle of adulthood as it promises to showcase the band's growth and evolution. With even more personal lyrics and captivating songwriting, "Eternal Stumble" is a record that cranes its neck back to the past but cruises the open road, wide-eyed and in the face of new beginnings. The band’s music can be described as a blend of Indie rock and Americana, with influences drawn from the likes of Bright Eyes, Big Thief and Alex G. 

The electrifying duo Kaito Kai, formed by Kaito Winse (Avalanche Kaito) and Kai Hugo (Palmbomen II), was born from a wild, late-night, and entirely spontaneous improvisation session at Het Bos. In 2025, the band will bring their immersive energy and new music to Trix during We Are Open!

The sound of Kaito Kai? Global acid house blended with Italo and percussive rhythms, combined with unconventional vocals. Or, in other words, Underground Resistance meets Kokoko! And if that doesn’t convince you, their live reputation surely will. Every show is unique, hypnotic, and, above all, incredibly fun. They proved this earlier in 2024 at Amsterdam’s Lentekabinet festival.

Laryssa Kim is an Italo-Congolese singer and composer with an arresting set of influences. Her first forays into music took place in Rome, writing and performing with reggae musicians and DJs. Here she honed her instinctual strengths in a predominantly live setting.She relocated to Amsterdam in 2008 and immersed herself in contemporary dance and physical theatre, broadening her toolset in an environment that supported and encouraged playful experimentation around composition. Basing herself in Brussels since 2013, Laryssa went on to formally pursue her interest in electro acoustics by completing a master’s program at the Royal Conservatory of Mons in acousmatic music composition. The landscape of Laryssa Kim’s music is impassioned and mesmerizing. Employing her voice as her central instrument, hypnotic swells of elegant lyrical forms are scattered around finely braided electronics and instrumental motifs that gather into tender song structures. Laryssa Kim’s debut EP Lov’em All was warmly and widely received, leading to performances across Belgium since its release in 2019. Her debut album 'Contezza’, released in February 2024 through the Belgian imprint City Tracks and co-published withInFiné, received outstanding attention from both the public and the press.Her live show integrates lighting and video projections that create an intriguing blend of live music and performance art

With the rawest sounds and the most intense live shows, LANDROSE, from Brussels, is setting a new standard. His hard-hitting drumbeats fuse punk and electronic music into a relentless wall of sound that completely immerses you. Last year, he released his album "Saveur Pey" via Hyperjungle Recordings. A record that not only crushes genres but also defies expectations. This is music that demands to be heard and experienced.

LeBlanc is the frontrunner of a new generation of Dutch-speaking Brusseleers, effortlessly blending rap, punk, and electronica to create fresh musical hybrids. For anyone looking to unleash or tap into raw, furious energy. In 2024, he released his debut album: 'Nog Steeds Op Een Zoektocht'. On this record, he mixes rap with heavy electronic beats—ranging from DnB to hardcore—while offering a more introspective look at his place in this wild world. Musically, LeBlanc balances somewhere between Joost and Zwangere Guy, with a dash of The Prodigy. With his track 'BOOS', he reached the finals of StuBru’s De Nieuwe Lichting in 2023 and was tipped by De Morgen as ‘the bet on the future’. With over 100 (!) shows under his belt, LeBlanc has built a formidable live reputation, which he reaffirmed last year with a crushing performance at We Are Open.

Deep trap beats, synths and spherical harmonies. Sensitive, definitely not-bad-ass lyrics. About cat raincoats, a little too close bond with your nintendo dog and someone who loves your never-tidy hair. Lil Alia suggests: "fluffy trap."

Throughout her life, Linde harbored an affinity for hip-hop, although she couldn't reconcile her image as a sensitive, sugary animal lover with being a rapper. Until she decided to radicalize in her atypical softness and come out with her self-invented genre 'fluffy trap'. Lil Alia is a theatrical experience. Expect a good dose of humor and self-relativization, interspersed with deep vulnerability and melancholy.

Lord Gasmique is a Brussels-based rapper who blends hip-hop with diverse influences, creating a distinctive sound that's both raw and innovative. His music is a mix of introspective lyricism and experimental beats, often exploring themes of life, society, and personal struggles. Known for his unique flow and thought-provoking content, Lord Gasmique is an artist who stands out in the Belgian hip-hop scene, continuing to evolve his style and push creative boundaries.

Lovelace is an artist from Brussels, part of the new alternative pop scene. She produces her tracks in her bedroom lab, weaving a unique sonic universe where soft, saturated and robotic sounds collide. Her world is a cocktail of sounds that echoes Billie Eilish, 070 Shake and Babysolo33.

Lovelace delivers a bold mix of melancholy, exuberant joy, and self-mockery, reflecting her fascination with existence and her struggle with the absurdity of the world.

Maria Iskariot, the rebellious punk princess of Flanders, released her first EP 'EN/EN' in spring 2024. Her music swings between hope and despair, with songs about growing up, confusion, and being a well-meaning bastard. The band still offers no answers to your questions but extends a damp hand to anyone who has mastered the dance steps of the waltz of the hopeless. What began as a four-headed dog has evolved into a tender monster that celebrates friendship, softens disdain, and underlines life itself. With brilliant imperfection, they deliver a joyful protest against age-old evils. On October 31, 2025, their debut album 'Wereldwaan' will be released, already hailed by critics as a timeless cult record that holds today’s delusions against the light of eternity.

For MEYY, a microphone is a magnifying glass: moving, reflective, and observant. Her sound, a blend of New Time R&B and progressive pop, combines ethereal vocals with intimate, dreamy soundscapes. From her bedroom, she creates worlds full of love and longing, captivating audiences live. With a background in dance, MEYY conveys emotions that are both vulnerable and relatable. In 2023, she made waves with her EP 'Digital Gloss', a headline tour, support shows for Lolo Zouai and Angèle, and a viral TikTok moment. MEYY is on the brink of her breakthrough.

NMSS (Nemesis) is an Afropean, Genderfluid artist born from the blend of French and Ivorian culture. This DJ/Producer based in Brussels pro- poses a rich universe oscillating between euphoric and dystopic atmospheres. NMSS always surprises the audience with their high energy sets, celebrating the role of Afro-descendant and queer communities in electronic music.

Otis is the founder of Slagwerk, a Brussels-based label notorious
for their parties. At Slagwerk, and so too in Otis’ continuous escapades as a DJ, the trivial is never just banal, the poppy never just popular, but the cutting-edge never turns pose either. In Otis’ sets, rigid conceptions of music are left aside, cul-de-sacs explored conditionally through humor, affect and instinct alike.

Piffy or Piffke to her friends, crafts music for all the beautiful misfits and introverts of the world. On her 2024 debut EP piffiverse she used heavy digital beats, bats, and taboo-breaking lyrics about body shaming and social anxiety as a sort of armor. She threw the word ‘baby’ into her lyrics at every opportunity and resolutely rejected the concept of adulthood. For her upcoming debut album Steep Hills, she shifts gears, choosing unfiltered honesty and emotional nuance instead.

Reconnecting with longtime producer and songwriter Aram Santy, she trades purely electronic production for a warmer, more organic sound. Incorporating real drums, piano, and guitar gives the music a grounded foundation, though the core remains unmistakably Piffy thanks to her signature quirky noises, infectious pop melodies, and total lack of filter. Lyrically, Steep Hills feels like a collection of personal letters, exploring the exhaustion of deep-seated insecurity, the loneliness of being misunderstood, alongside themes of gratitude, loyalty, and grief. Having previously shared stages with Caroline Polachek, Tricky, Hemlocke Springs, Whispering Sons, and BLUAI, Piffy’s live show still bounces in every direction, complete with her signature awkward dance moves and playful banter.

Primero is one of the standout figures in the Belgian rap scene. You might know him from his earlier project L'Or Du Commun, which he co-founded with, among others, Roméo Elvis. His first solo work dates back to 2015, when he released the EP SCÉNARIOS. This was followed by collaborations with artists such as Lous & The Yakuza, Zwangere Guy, and Isha. In 2018, Primero released his debut album SAPIENS, solidifying his position in the Francophone rap scene. Primero’s writing style is unique and refined, skillfully blending captivating beats with subtle melodies. With his introspective lyrics and distinctive sound, Primero has clearly established himself as one of the fresh voices redefining the Francophone hip-hop world!

Hertier Hitimana, better known as Scottie, is an Antwerp-based rapper, singer, and producer. At the age of 12, Scottie begins making beats and writing lyrics. The young artist is influenced by various genres including African music, soul, and 90s/00s hip-hop. His broad musical taste and unique vocal style already establish him as one of the most versatile hip-hop artists in Belgium.

Mika Oki translates the album's poetic content with her captivating visual installation 'Parhélion', inspired by the optical phenomenon of the "double sun." Sara Dziri is a DJ and producer who blends emotional depth and rhythmic intensity in her genre-defying sound. As a resident DJ at Fuse and co-founder of Not Your Techno, she advocates for decolonial, SWANA, and queer representation, while redefining the future of electronic music.

Stanislawa is a DJ and producer who combines 90’s trance, sexy techno, and progressive house in her energetic sets. As the founder of Deep Down East and initiator of projects like Slava and Rave Against Fascism, she merges music with activism. With her EP 'Forever Strong' (2024) and performances at clubs and festivals both locally and internationally, she continues to strengthen the electronic music scene.

What to expect from the Brussels-based trio Sunchaser? Dreamy, shimmering, and ethereal soundscapes. The band was born when Camilla had a revelation: she had to make shoegaze music. There was only one person she could envision collaborating with—Niels. And so, Sunchaser came to life.

Their first singles were created between London, Berlin, and Brussels, followed by the release of their self-titled debut EP in November 2024 on the Brussels label Toverberg: "Seven tracks, some reverb, thick drums, crunchy guitars, and a rabbit song."

Born in Bolivia, based in Brussels, and now deeply entwined with the vibrant rhythms and melodies of Latin America. With an insatiable passion for percussion and film music that effortlessly navigates between tranquility and intensity, Susobrino is a musical artist who harmoniously merges a multitude of instruments to create his world, both acoustic and electronic.

The Ghent-based post-punk formation The Rats first appeared on the scene at Humo's Rock Rally in January 2022. Their reception was overwhelmingly positive. HUMO described them as “a headbutt you can’t—or don’t want to—dodge.” The magazine also noted that “while The Rats sound as British as warm beer, their songs are anything but lukewarm.”

Since then, the band has been tearing through the underground scene. They've performed at nearly every renowned Belgian music bar and shared the stage with national acts like Meltheads and Ronker, as well as international bands such as The Lounge Society (UK) and Pozi (UK).

In September 2024, The Rats released their debut EP, Disco To Disco, which was met with nearly 4 stars from Dansende Beren: “This is pure adventure, a vacation that doesn’t end, a festival in your living room.” And for those still unconvinced: “The Rats also have a solid, rock-hard live reputation.”

After a whirlwind year established them as one of Belgium's most exciting new acts, TJE presents their debut album 'SCHADE'. The trio, Lindy Versyck, Melvin Slabbinck, and Klaas Leyssen, operates at the intersection of raw intensity and fragile vulnerability. On 'SCHADE', the band fuses their diverse musical backgrounds into a unique sound that sits somewhere between pulsating electronics, melancholic avant-pop, and experimental post-rock.

The album serves as a rich, layered journey: from the folky lo-fi textures of ‘Supernatural’ to the grand, high-energy burst of ‘Sidewalk’. At the heart of it all is Versyck’s captivating voice, moving between childlike innocence and a haunting, Björk-like menace. Somewhere between electronic music and jazz, TUKAN unveils a percussive sound with a heady groove. Led by four talented Brussels musicians, the band is inspired by artists such as Tortoise, BadBadNotGood, Lone... Following an analogical approach, TUKAN takes up the codes of electronic music and delivers a powerful performance on stage.

VAAG rocks as the (post)punk/no wave sensation from Kortrijk/Ghent of four hardcore and punk buddies known from acts such as HAEMERS and HITCH. They started the band from a shared love for everything related to 80s postpunk, gloomy UK punk, French OI! and early new/no wave. Their debut EP ‘Paniek!’ was released in the spring of 2024 and the successor will be released in the first half of this year.

WASTE makes noise. A lot of noise. The Antwerp-Aarschot band blends noise, grunge, and dark post-punk into an intense, uncompromising sound, featuring manic vocals, pounding drums, heavy basslines, and screeching guitars.

In March 2026, their debut album SCREAM UNTIL IT’S BEAUTIFUL will be released, recorded by Tim De Gieter (Amenra, Doodseskader). The album is hard, danceable, and uncompromising: punk and noise remain at its core, while boundaries blur and experimentation takes the lead. Themes such as mental health, self-acceptance, and societal pressure run as a thread throughout the tracks, all infused with irony and self-mockery. WASTE delivers a soundtrack for the underdogs, outsiders, and anyone embracing imperfection.

This brand-new work will be presented for the first time during their album release show at Trix. The band recently won De Nieuwe Lichting 2026 by Studio Brussel, a further confirmation of their rise in the Belgian music scene.

With 'winner of the Nieuwe Lichting' on their list of achievements, Yesnomaybe is eager to kick Belgium - and by extension the whole world - on their punk rock conscience. Fueled by bands that gave the music industry a new face in the 1990s, Yesnomaybe recreates concert halls into sweaty rock temples.

‘Life is A Dirty Circle’ is the slogan of Vieze Meisje, the alter ego of Amsterdam/Brussels-based Maya Mertens. The Dirty Circle is a club you automatically join when you’ve attended a performance by Vieze Meisje. It’s an attempt to create random solidarity in a world endlessly spinning circles around itself. Together with her producer-partner-in-crime Azertyklavierwerke, she hosts the ‘Dirty Circle,’ a hybrid experience that’s part concert, part afterparty, and part cult.
