bar italia
bar italia, the London trio of Nina Cristante, Jezmi Tarik Fehmi and Sam Fenton, blends lo-fi grunge, folk and nightmare pop. But above all: anything goes. Over the past two years, they’ve made their mark with two critically acclaimed albums on Matador ('Tracey Denim' and 'The Twits') and more than 160 shows worldwide, from Coachella to Glastonbury. On stage, they’ve grown into an intense and versatile five-piece, equally at ease commanding festival crowds or captivating intimate rooms. On October 17, their new album 'Some Like It Hot' arrives, further sharpening bar italia’s signature mix of pop, mystique and gritty rock.
Rodolphe Coster
Multidisciplinary artist and legendary activist from the Brussels scene, Rodolphe Coster has already lived several lives, several deaths and as many resurrections. Last year, he released a first album in his own name “High With The People”. Expect a cold and irreverent rock, free from all shackles and oozing the rage to live through every pore. On the side of this BAND project, Rodolphe worked on some acoustic-electronic versions of "High With The People", inspired by HTRK, Fennesz and Sparklehorse. This solo already performed in Ancienne Belgique, London and Paris, and announces new recordings. In the past, Rodolphe Coster was part of several artistic collectives and rock bands and worked a lot as a composer and performer for contemporary dance projects that made him travel all around the world. It was during these trips that he met the collaborators who form his current entourage. During the last 5 years, the Brussels artist has been able to perform in Canada, Europe, the United States and Japan and notably opened for Black Dice, Grimes, Molly Nilsson, Liars, Italia 90, Osees
