Ezra Furman
Ezra Furman crafts disarming, uncompromising indie rock that’s as sharp as it is playful. Effortlessly switching between punk, doo-wop, and folk, she gives themes like identity, faith, gender, and desire a raw yet melodic place in her songs. With an impressive track record, a string of striking albums, and the Sex Education soundtrack under her belt, Furman continues to surprise. Both on record and on stage, she creates an atmosphere that’s at once intimate and explosive.
Every show feels like a lightning strike, charged with emotion, urgency, and an unfiltered drive to connect.
Modern Woman
Modern Woman is an experimental band from London, fronted by Sophie Harris. What started as a spoken word project evolved into a four-piece formation that balances on the edge of post-punk, folk, and noise. Drawing influences from free jazz to literature, they create a layered sound that is both raw and captivating. Think Black Country, New Road or early PJ Harvey, but with an idiosyncratic twist.
