A name like Frank Turner evokes many associations. The Brit burst onto the musical scene as the frontman of the punk band Million Dead. With his solo project he explores the boundaries of folk. Songs like “Keep My Bones” marked their entry into the popular charts, and the albums 'Tape Deck Heart' and 'Be More Kind' resulted in sold-out tours. Now he is back again, with an upcoming album 'Undefeated', completely self-produced. The Meffs are a punk duo from Essex. Broken Britain Pt 1 is the debut album from the female-fronted two-piece band. On this album, which was produced by Frank Turner, the band calls out societal inequality over a wall of hard-hitting melodies. Last year they released a second part Broken Britain Pt 2 of their debut album Broken Britain Pt 1. In the words of Frank Turner, “working on this record with The Meffs has been a privilege. It’s an absolute monster”.
