Godspeed You! Black Emperor

The status of Canadian post-rock band Godspeed You! Black Emperor has become almost mythical. They don’t do promo, perform in near-darkness, and have no frontperson, but their concerts are intense experiences, built from carefully structured epic compositions, rich arrangements, and volcanic outbursts. Not to be missed!

Their early albums, like 'F#A#∞' (1997) and 'Lift Your Skinny Fists Like Antennas to Heaven' (2000), are widely regarded as classics that redefined protest music. Live, the experience is amplified with multiple 16mm projectors, overlapping analog film loops, and iconic album artwork. After a seven-year hiatus, the band returned in 2010 and has since captivated audiences worldwide with sold-out shows and acclaimed new releases, including 'NO TITLE AS OF 13 FEBRUARY 2024 28,340 DEAD'.

One Leg One Eye

One Leg One Eye is the project of Ian Lynch (founding member of Irish group Lankum) and George Brennan, exploring hidden currents of music and song. Their work draws from the raw aesthetics of black metal, noise, and drone, while being deeply infused with a sense of history and myth.

Their debut album, "…And Take The Black Worm With Me" (Nyahh Records, 2022), is a slow-burning suite of five expansive compositions that has found its audience largely through word of mouth. Partly recorded in an abandoned Dublin factory where Lynch’s father worked as a child, his harrowing vocals are anchored by vast uilleann pipe drones, layered with effects and field recordings to create a sound that is dark, mysterious, and ultimately transcendental.
