Heavy Lungs
Heavy Lungs is riffs turned into pure energy. Raw, loud, and uncompromising, drawing inspiration from the rowdy and liberating gigs of the ’80s and ’90s. From the very first note, they pull you into a punk storm you won’t want to escape.
Fronted by Danny Nedelko, the man immortalized in IDLES’ iconic song, Heavy Lungs have been winning over fans and critics alike since their 2023 debut All Gas No Brakes, earning praise from the likes of Iggy Pop and Steve Lamacq. They’ve shared the stage with IDLES, The Oh Sees, METZ, JOHN, and more.
Their shows? A deafening, unforgettable explosion of distortion, fury, and fun. Think tinnitus or an addictive earworm that sticks around for days, but above all, an experience you won’t want to miss on April 26 at Trix!
Fervents
Fervents is a ferocious punk band from Liège, Belgium. Following their debut EP featuring the infectious single Billy, they returned with five darker, grungy tracks full of hard-hitting grooves. Their lyrics rage against societal conformity, daily struggles, and the search for a better life. With over 30 shows across Belgium, England, and the Netherlands, and support slots for Kills Birds, Cloud Nothings, Flat Worms, and SONS, Fervents is known for high-octane live sets where the crowd can’t help but shout along.
Stonks
Stonks walks a tight line between nervous post-punk, shadowy noise, and deconstructed jazz. Creaks, saturated textures, and compositions where absurdity rubs up against anxiety. Something unstable, swinging between urgency and detachment, physical tension and blurry thoughts. A kind of nonchalance floating over something darker, like a smile hiding a cramp.
With 'Badger', their second EP released on EXAG’ Records, the band pushes this shifting sound further to gain intensity, to make bodies vibrate as much as nerves, stepping away from post-punk clichés by injecting movement, groove, momentum. No big speeches, just a clear urge to make noise that makes you move.
